Pre-approved Principal Payment Holiday Scheme extended by a further six months
In light of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on economic activities and the cash flow difficulties faced by some corporates, as per announcement by the HKMA, the Pre-approved Principal Payment Holiday Scheme (“The Scheme”) has been extended for a further six months to April 2021. Repayment of all loan principal payments of eligible customers falling due between 1 November 2020 and 30 April 2021 can be deferred.
Eligible customers (corporate borrowers) need to fulfil the following requirements:
- On an entity basis, an annual sales turnover of HK$800 million or less, based on their latest financial statements;
- No outstanding loan payments payable to ORIX which is overdue for more than 30 days as of 1 November 2020; and
- Not in the process of ceasing operations or declaring bankruptcy or liquidation.

Remarks:
1. Syndicated loans and loans financing the purchase of shares and other financial assets are not covered by the Scheme.
2. The Scheme is subject to detailed terms and conditions.
